Rusty Things

 I think I have enough things now to try my hand at rust dyeing.  The rusty rooster is going to be a challenge...so if anyone has ideas on how I might get this shape to imprint...please stop and leave a note in the comments section.

  

The dome BBQ was picked up at Life Line for a few dollars complete with BBQ tools and an extra grill (which is now in the rust collection and hopefully will provide a good rust pattern).

This will be a much easier option than the pit fire I had in mind ...easier on the back as well. Just need some wood to simmer the gum leaves and vinegar to activate the rust.
